In this video, we'll guide you through installing the Leadfeeder Tracker directly into your website's HTML.

Before you begin, remember that installing the tracker involves editing your site's HTML. If you're unsure, it's best to get help from your team to avoid accidental errors.

First copy your Leadfeeder tracking script. You will navigate to the Dealfront settings by clicking the gear icon, then go to Company,  Website Tracker and click 'Copy to Clipboard.'

Next you will open the file that contains your website's <head> code in your code editor. If your site doesn't use a shared head template, you'll need to edit each page individually.

Now you will paste the Leadfeeder Tracker script just before the closing </head> tag. Be sure to match the script exactly as shown in Dealfront settings.

Make sure to save your changes and upload the updated files to your production environment.

You need to verify your Hostname rules in the Dealfront settings. Go to Account, Traffic Filtering, Hostname Rules and ensure they match the domains you want to track and that they are toggled on to be included.

It may take up to an hour for your tracker to start collecting data. During this time, the status will show as 'Not Installed' or 'Not Receiving Data.

Your Leadfeeder Tracker is now set up. Sit back and watch as visiting companies appear in your Leadfeeder dashboard.
